At West Bridgford Colts, we run an Inclusive Football Programme that provides opportunities for adults with disabilities to play football, make friends and have fun in a safe and inclusive environment.

We strive to make football available to all. No matter your experience or ability, everyone is welcome.

Adults (16 years+): Pan Disability Football

Pan-Disability is the largest format of disability football, which sees players with a broad range of impairments and health conditions play together. There are now over 2000 affiliated disability teams in England. We currently have 3 adult teams that play competitive football in the East Midlands Pan Disability League.

Inclusive Football for Children: Working in Partnership with Keyworth FC

We are currently working in partnership with Keyworth FC to offer weekly coaching sessions for children who may struggle to cope with mainstream competitive football due to diagnosed or undiagnosed disabilities. Children can choose to just attend coaching sessions or progress to junior Pan Disability competitive football.

Being a member of West Bridgford Colts has boosted my son’s self-esteem, helped him make new friends and given him a sense of belonging. He has benefitted physically and mentally from the weekly training sessions, which are extremely well organised, stretched him and helped him develop his ball skills.

I love going to disability football each week, and have made lots of friends there. The team are all very understanding and we have lots of fun together. I don’t always find it easy to speak to others, but here I can just be myself without fear of judgement. Physically, I’ve often struggled to keep up with other people my age, but here everyone is mixed ability and gets to have a go.
